Funeral arranger Judith Campbell was chosen by the charity Brain Tumour Research, to be involved in Crowning Glory: A Milliners’ Celebration of All the Kings Colours.
Judith modelled Beverley Edmondson’s Hat “Ruby”, one of 22 hats created by milliners of The British Hat Guild which are being auctioned between 24th April and 11th June with proceeds going to Brain Tumour Research.
Judith, who sadly lost her husband to a brain tumour in 2021 said: “It was a beautifully bitter sweet day at Epsom Race Course, where I met some wonderful people who had also been chosen to model a hat, and who have brain tumours. There were make-up artists, hairdressers, stylists, photographers, and delicious food.”
The hats are now promoted on line with the hashtag #AllTheKingsColours. The link for the auction is here. You can see the pictures on the bid link for Ruby. There are nine of them – and of course you can bid!

Judith has pledged to do whatever she can to raise awareness about this devastating disease and raise funds for research after losing her husband Peter to a brain tumour in March 2021. Last September Judith completed a gruelling 96 Mile Trek through the West Highland Way in Scotland and raised just over £6,000 for the charity.
